Guest artist Samira Gdisis shares her new artwork series "Happy Places" at Artist's Gallery
Artists Gallery, a collaborative fine art gallery in Downtown Racine, Wisconsin,
presents the upcoming exhibit, Happy Places, a collection of new printmaking by guest artist Samira Gdisis in an opening reception on Friday, December 5, 2025, 5:00 – 8:00pm. The exhibit will be on view December 3 - 26, 2025.
Happy Places is a new collection of fine art prints, by Samira Gdisis. This body of work aims to share quiet, peaceful moments of the artist’s life in white line color woodcuts, a technique borrowed from the printmaking traditions of Cape Cod, Massachusetts and the Provincetown Printers. All the images in Happy Places are inspired by her recent travels, people in her life, and things that bring her joy.
Visit the Gallery on First Friday in December for the opening reception. Meet guest artist, Samira Gdisis and many of the talented members of the gallery. Visitors will find the gallery filled with fine art and craft perfect for holiday gift giving.
