Larry Penn Annual Tribute Concert
The Larry Penn Annual Tribute Concert will be held on Sunday December 8th from 6-9pm at Anodyne Coffee Roasting Co. 224 W Bruce St Milwaukee WI 54204 (Walkers Point)
Tickets are $10 at the door
Join us for our 10th annual celebration to honor the music, life and legacy of late Larry Penn, Wisconsin's famed songwriter and folksinger known for his tunes: I'm A Little Cookie, On My Grandma's Patchwork Quilt and dozens of other songs about working folk, trucking trains, the great lakes, children, love and social justice. (Larry passed on October 7, 2014)
This year’s lineup includes: Bill Camplin, Will Branch, John Stano, Bob & Diana Suckiel, Lil' Rev, and MC Brett Kemnitz. Each act will each perform 30 minutes, covering Larry Penn songs, remembrances, poetry, and songs in the spirit of Larry Penn with a grand finale at the end where all performers gather on stage to sing I'm A Little Cookie and a few other Penn favorites.
