Join us for an evening of art activation in the Gallery Lounge of InterContinental Miami Hotel, featuring a local Miami artist creating their latest work. Each month, a new artist is showcased, offering visitors an expansive introduction to our vibrant city's diverse array of artistry. Tap into your creative flow with postcard collage materials to engage in a little Creative Play. And when hunger strikes, indulge in delicious light bites from Toro Toro to keep you fueled throughout the evening. Monday nights mean more at the InterContinental Miami with Noche de Arte. Gallery Open 7 days a week, 9 AM to 9 PM. Noche de Arte is hosted every Monday at a NEW TIME, 6 PM to 8 PM! About the Artist: Silvana Soriano, originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is a visual artist, art teacher, and illustrator currently residing in Miami, Florida. Her artistic journey has taken her to various solo and group exhibitions across Brazil, Spain, France, the USA, and Cuba. In 2022, Soriano contributed to the group exhibition "Women Pulling at the Threads of Social Discourse" at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Westport. She was also honored with the Teacher Travel Grant - The Ellies Oolite Art. Additionally, she participated in residencies at Ratcliffe Art + Design Incubator (2020/2021), La Maldita Estampa Printshop Barcelona, and Project Art in Miami (2023). Beyond exhibitions and residencies, Soriano's creates book illustrations, covering a diverse range from children's literature to poetry. She is also involved in online printmaking magazine publishing. Noche de Arte is open to the public and free to attend. collaboARTive presents this program in partnership with the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau and InterContinental Miami Hotel, Miami Downtown Development Authority, and with support from the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs.
