Sunshine Jazz Organization Celebrates International Jazz Day at The Lyric Theater, Friday April 4th!
The Sunshine Jazz Organization is proud to participate in our 5th International Jazz Day as we enter our 39th Season! The month’s festivities kickoff with an extraordinary lineup of South Florida’s jazz greats featuring – beloved saxophone extraordinaire Jesse Jones, Jr., along with alto sax, bandleader Melton Mustafa Jr., sultry, jazz blues vocalist Ms. Val Woods, and the dynamic guitarist Mojo Ike Woods!
The event is presented by The Sunshine Jazz Organization at the Historic Lyric Theater, home of the Black Archives in Overtown Miami, Florida. Experience the rhythm, soul, and energy of this remarkable celebration! The “SJO” presents wonderful, diverse concerts monthly at the Lyric Theater.
