The performing groups are Miami Beach Rock Ensemble and Not Yet Published—exciting, student-led groups ready to rock your world.
The Miami Beach Rock Ensemble has a legendary history, founded in 1972 by the late Doug Burris as the first high school rock ensemble in the country. This dynamic group of students brings both classic and modern rock to life with a mix of Beatles, Pink Floyd, and Led Zeppelin hits. Dedicated to providing free music education to over 9,000 students, Young Musicians Unite believes every child deserves access to music education regardless of socioeconomic background.
