The Orpheus Male Chorus of Phoenix is set to captivate audiences this spring with A Choral Mosaic, a concert series celebrating the rich diversity of choral music. As Arizona’s longest-running choir, Orpheus is known for its dynamic performances. This season’s program will be even more special with the guest appearance of internationally acclaimed opera tenor Andrew Richards, who will perform as a featured soloist on select pieces.
A Choral Mosaic will take audiences on a journey through a vibrant collection of musical styles and traditions, weaving together classical, folk, and contemporary choral works. Richards—who has graced the stages of La Scala, the Metropolitan Opera, and the Royal Opera House—will lend his powerful voice to several selections in this unique program, adding a rare and thrilling dimension to the concert experience.
For Richards, this performance holds special significance. His brother, Skip Richards, is a longtime member of the Orpheus Male Chorus – making this a heartfelt homecoming for the internationally renowned tenor.
