Remember the fallen. Honor those who serve. Teach the next generation the value of freedom. It’s the mission of Wreaths Across America. You can join us by sponsoring a wreath, volunteering or partnering with us on National Wreaths Across America Day and every day.
Green Acres Cemetery will participate in Wreaths Across AmericaTM Day on Saturday, Dec. 13th. As each wreath is placed, the veteran’s name will be read aloud to ensure the individual who served in the U.S. armed forces is not forgotten. Ceremony will start at 10 AM with wreath laying immediately following.
Green Acres is working with Exchange Club of Scottsdale and Tempe to raise the funds to purchase wreaths for each veteran’s grave. Those who wish to volunteer or sponsor a wreath may visit www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/AZGACS
