Tempe Blooms Returns to Downtown Tempe Jan. 24-25

Downtown Tempe Authority and presenting sponsor Arizona Flower Market invite the public to the free, award-winning event to explore floral installations, live art, local vendors and creative programming woven throughout Downtown Tempe. This is the only floral celebration of its kind in the Southwest, drawing over 80,000 visitors across the span of two days. Floral Installations Twenty-one large-scale floral installations crafted from real botanicals will appear throughout Downtown Tempe on buildings, public spaces and near historic landmarks. Created by local floral designers using flowers sourced through Arizona Flower Market, the installations transform the district into an open-air floral gallery and offer photo opportunities for guests to explore while highlighting the creativity of the local floral community. Live Mural Art Throughout the weekend, a curated group of 10 local artists will create live murals across the district, each inspired by the theme “Growth in Bloom.” Visitors can watch the creative process unfold in real time, adding an amazing visual layer to the floral experience. Live Music Live music will be performed throughout Downtown Tempe across 10 locations, featuring four DJs and 16 rotating musicians. The performances will be spread across the district to enhance the experience as guests explore the floral installations, live art and participating businesses. Flowerful Market The Flowerful Market will feature 60+ local vendors offering handcrafted goods, art, floral-inspired products and botanically themed items, along with select snack and drink vendors scattered throughout the market. Arizona Flower Market's popular “Build Your Own Bouquet Bar” will again be available, alongside a curated selection of pre-made bouquets, forever roses, flower crowns and additional floral offerings for purchase. Floral Design Seminars Attendees can participate in a series of live floral design seminars presented by Arizona Flower Market and regional floral professionals. These sessions provide insight into floral techniques, creative approaches and industry trends, offering both inspiration and educational opportunities. Downtown Business Specials Participating Downtown Tempe restaurants, bars and retailers will offer limited edition floral-inspired food, cocktails, mocktails and merchandise throughout the weekend, extending the Tempe Blooms experience into businesses across the district. Guests can look for the official “Stop Here” Tempe Blooms window poster to identify participating locations. Downtown Tempe is a premier hub for activations, events and experiences positioned alongside 160+ street-level businesses and surrounded by a rich history of art, culture and iconic landmarks unique to Tempe. Tempe Blooms started with a simple goal: bring people downtown to support local businesses. The idea was to create a beautiful and unique experience that encourages visitors to walk the district, explore different blocks and step inside shops and restaurants along the way. With a little planning, getting to and around Downtown Tempe is a breeze, with more than 20,000 parking spaces available across the district. Valley Metro Light Rail makes a stop near the event at Third Street and Mill Avenue, and you can park for free at 13 Park & Ride locations around the Valley.
