On May 17, the community will come together for IgAN Awareness, a special event dedicated to raising awareness and support for IgA Nephropathy (IgAN)—a rare and often misunderstood autoimmune kidney disease.
Hosted at Divided Vine in Gilbert and showcasing local wines and beers, this event offers a fun and meaningful way to learn more about IgAN while enjoying a locally crafted beverage for the occasion. A percentage of proceeds from event will benefit the IgA Nephropathy Foundation, a national nonprofit organization committed to funding research, connecting patients, and advocating for better treatment options.
All attendees will also have the chance to win prizes featuring donations from local businesses.
IgA Nephropathy affects the kidney’s filtering units (glomeruli) and can progress silently until severe damage has occurred. Because of its rarity and complexity, many patients face long journeys to diagnosis and limited treatment options. Events like this aim to amplify patient voices, fund hope, and spark much-needed conversations around rare diseases.
Join us on May 17 at 3pm at Divided Vine Beer and Wine Bar to raise your glass for awareness, research, and resilience. Together, we can make a difference.
