Expert faculty will provide up-to-date education on multifaceted care for patients presenting with myocardial infarction, heart failure, cardiac rhythm disorders, and shock along with appropriate imaging, monitoring, and medical management. Special attention will be given to limiting complications in the cardiovascular care units for best-practice principles. The program will have didactic lectures integrated with challenging case discussions to highlight this rapidly growing field of medicine.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
-Review topics pertinent to the care of critically ill patients with cardiac disease;
-Identify updates in resuscitation science and implementation;
-Discuss science of teams and building high performance multi-disciplinary collaborations; and,
-Diagnose cardiogenic shock and describe management strategies.
