As part of the Stax Museum’s exhibit honoring legendary Stax songwriter Bettye Crutcher, the Stax Museum is hosting a special live songwriting session on Thursday, February 26, featuring Boo Mitchell and Lina Beach.
This intimate, behind-the-scenes experience brings the creative process to life as audiences witness a song being built in real time—from initial ideas and lyrical themes to melody and collaboration. Designed to educate and inspire, the session offers a rare opportunity to see how storytelling, history, and emotion come together in songwriting, connecting Bettye Crutcher’s enduring influence to today’s creative voices.
