Emerging from the bustling Los Angeles rock scene of the early '90s, The Wallflowers, under the leadership of Jakob Dylan, son of the legendary Bob Dylan, etched a unique path with their mix of alternative rock and timeless Americana. Their 1996 sophomore effort, "Bringing Down the Horse," marked a high point, with hits like "One Headlight" and "6th Avenue Heartache" not only earning them Grammy accolades but also firmly establishing their presence in the rock realm. These tracks, rich in poetic lyrics and unforgettable melodies, proved the band could shine beyond Jakob's illustrious lineage, crafting a sound uniquely their own.
On the Bringing Down The Horse 30th Anniversary Tour, the band will perform their classic album in its entirety, in sequence. The Wallflowers will also pay tribute to the 50th anniversary of Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers by playing Petty’s 1982 album Long After Dark in its entirety and in sequence as well.
