Memphis in March: A Barbecue Block Party
Calling all BBQ fans! The Shops at Carriage Crossing and Memphis in May International Festival are partnering to host an exciting barbecue celebration Saturday, March 29 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Two Carriage Crossing restaurants – STIX and Nashoba – will provide barbecue dishes that reflect their unique culinary styles, alongside renowned BBQ teams: Will Be Que (Craig Wilkerson), Grillmaster Chew (Antonio Chew) and Paradise Grill (Mike Godwin). On top of barbecue sampling, attendees will enjoy outdoor pickleball from Pickleball 901, Chalk the Walk with Nerd Alert, children’s activities from Jumpin’ Jellybeans and Indoor World, block party games, a contest to test your Memphis BBQ sauce knowledge sponsored by Jones Aur Commercial Real Estate and a property-wide scavenger hunt with an opportunity to win fabulous prize packages.
Registration is FREE on Eventbrite, and you have the chance to win a Memphis in May Barbecue Experience for four, including: a one day pass with access to BBQ Alley and Kingsford Tour of Champions; the chance to meet the defending WCBCC Word Champions, The Shed; and a prize package from Carriage Crossing.
