Dialogues: New Works by Rivertown Artists

Founded in 1997, Rivertown Artists provides a forum for local artists to engage in live critiques, technique reviews, and discussions on artistic practice. Through these exchanges, members refine their skills and gain deeper insights into their work, culminating in exhibitions that reflect their shared dialogue. In Dialogues, nine artists use their chosen mediums to visually communicate their impressions of the world around them. Much like spoken conversation, their works engage in a dynamic exchange—expressing values, concerns, and perspectives on the environment, humanity, and the future we all share. This exhibition invites viewers to “listen” to these visual conversations and interpret the messages woven throughout each piece. The essence of Dialogues lies in its ability to bridge the gap between artist and audience, encouraging an unspoken yet deeply resonant exchange. Each piece serves as a voice, contributing to a collective discussion about our world and our place within it. So please join us for the opening of this incredible exhibition at ANF on Friday, April 4th, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Admission is FREE, and guests will enjoy complimentary soft drinks, wine, and snacks. Pieces will be available for purchase via cash, check, Venmo, or PayPal. If you’re unable to attend the opening, the exhibition will be open for viewing at ANF on weekdays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm from April 4 to May 2, 2025.
