ESL Tutor Training Workshop (with the Teaneck Library)
Make a difference in your community....volunteer to teach English as a Second Language at the Teaneck Library, in partnership with Literacy Volunteers of Pascack Valley! Since 1982, Literacy Volunteers of Pascack Valley has been training volunteers to teach English to adults in their communities.
LVPV holds a 4 session Tutor Training Workshop taught by certified trainers where volunteer tutors learn best practices for working with Adult ESL students. Upon completion of the workshop, Teaneck Library will match the volunteer with an appropriate student.
Literacy Volunteers of Pascack Valley is pleased to announce the next online 4-session Tutor Training Workshop on January 6, 13, 20 and 27, 2026 from 7:00- 8:30 pm. Volunteers must be 18 or older.
