Walk for Wishes
Make-A-Wish Hudson Valley will be hosting Walk For Wishes on Sunday, October 6th in historic Sleepy Hollow at Kingsland Point Park – the home of Halloween. This family-friendly, community-driven event is crucial in supporting our mission to create life-changing wishes for children with critical illnesses in the Hudson Valley.
Walk For Wishes is more than just a walk; it’s a magical Halloween-themed family fun day featuring awards for top fundraisers and costumes. Participants will enjoy a scenic walk on the recently updated River Walk along the Hudson River with activation stops for photo opportunities, fun Halloween activities including our legendary glass pumpkin patch, live entertainment, food trucks, and more. We anticipate over 500 attendees, making it a vibrant community event driven by sponsorships and peer-to-peer fundraising.
