Eun’s multidisciplinary practice spans photography, installation, and printmaking. Rather than treating photography solely as a means of image-making, he engages with the medium as a material for constructing sculptural and architectural forms. His work explores the fluid nature of photography, positioning it simultaneously as subject and process.
In Window, Eun presents a series of photographs that challenge the viewer’s perception of time, space, scale, and place. Blurred, distorted, or obscured imagery functions as both an aesthetic and conceptual device, inviting viewers to reconsider how we experience the world through the lens—both physically and psychologically. Through the incorporation of transparent and reflective materials, his site-responsive installations evoke spatial conditions and material processes that blur the line between photography and architecture. Surfaces shift and respond to the viewer’s movement, creating immersive and dynamic environments.
A graduate of the School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York, where he earned his BFA in Photography and Video, Eun has actively participated in exhibitions and cultural events throughout the city. Most recently, he was invited to participate in Friend, a group exhibition at Ki Smith Gallery in New York City. The exhibition featured works inspired by Sentebale, the charity co-founded by Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso, and brought together leading contemporary artists recognized as top figures in their fields. Eun was the only Korean artist selected for the show, underscoring the growing international recognition of his work.
