ARTPAN Gallery in New Jersey Unveils First Exhibition Series After Renovation

ARTPAN Gallery, located in River Edge, New Jersey, has recently completed a major renovation and will host a series of solo exhibitions in May and June featuring three prominent Korean artists. Highlighting renowned artists active in the New York and New Jersey area, the exhibition series aims to introduce a fresh wave of inspiration to the local arts and culture scene.

You Sun Min, the newly appointed director of ARTPAN Gallery, is a graduate of Parsons School of Design in New York. She has cultivated a diverse career in exhibition and graphic design, with experience at ELIE TAHARI, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and People magazine, etc. Now focusing on discovering and promoting Korean artists in the New York and New Jersey region, she is steering ARTPAN toward becoming a dynamic platform that connects contemporary art with the wider public.

The first exhibition series curated by Director Min features three solo shows, each presenting a unique theme by a different artist.
From May 10 to 16, Hee Sang Eun, a famous New York-based artist known for his sculptural approach to photography, will present WINDOW, an installation work that reimagines photographic media. Next, from May 23 to 30, Beki Song—recognized for her original emotional sensibility—will showcase her solo exhibition LOVE ME ANYWAY, organized with the participation of Lina Hwang, curator at the Korean Cultural Center New York. Finally, from June 6 to 13, Jeenho Seo, a multimedia artist active in New York, will unveil Finding Home in Junction, featuring an expansive body of work including previously unreleased pieces.

Director Min You Sun stated, "This exhibition was curated to allow visitors to experience art from a variety of perspectives through the unique language infused with each artist's individual vision and sensibility," and added, "We hope that ARTPAN GALLERY will continue to evolve into a multi-cultural space that can be enjoyed by everyone, from children to adults."

ARTPAN GALLERY is located at 10 Elizabeth St. #302A, River Edge, New Jersey, and is open from Monday to Saturday, 10 AM to 4 PM, during the exhibition period. The gallery is closed on Sundays and public holidays.
