Help Package Free Native Plant Seeds!
This winter, the library and Sustainable Stoughton are partnering with Dane County Land & Water Resources to share free native Wisconsin plant seeds with the community. The seeds were collected by Dane County Parks volunteers and are best sown in the fall to overwinter outdoors. We need volunteers to help package the seeds so library patrons can take them from our Library of Things area on the top floor and plant them! Seeds will be available later in January. Space is limited and registration is required. Adults and teens, as well as accompanied children ages 8-11, are invited to register here starting December 1 at 9am.
