Lake Wisconsin Lions 35th Annual Eskimo Open
The Lake Wisconsin Lions Club invites the community to bundle up and join the fun at the 35th Annual Eskimo Open Golf Outing on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Remi’s Thirsty Moose, N3135 County Road V, Poynette.
This unique winter tradition features 18 holes of golf on the ice of Lake Wisconsin from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. (or fun activities for all on shore if ice conditions don’t allow,) Two nine-hole courses will be laid out among a “Christmas tree forest” on the ice. Participants may bring their own clubs or use those provided, and tennis balls replace traditional golf balls for safe and easy-to-find play.
Tickets are $10 per person, which includes 18 holes of golf and entry into the cash raffle. Children 12 and under golf free. The raffle drawing will take place at 4 p.m., and participants do not need to be present to win. Cash prizes include $500 for first ticket drawn, $250 for second, $150 for third, and $100 for fourth.
In addition to golf, the Eskimo Open offers plenty of ways to enjoy the day indoors and out, including food and beverages at Remi’s Thirsty Moose, a meat raffle, and gift basket drawings throughout the afternoon. Whether you’re golfing on the ice or relaxing inside, there’s something fun for everyone.
The Eskimo Open is a Lake Wisconsin Lions’ fundraiser, with all proceeds supporting local projects in the Lodi, Poynette, Harmony Grove, and Okee communities. Funds help provide scholarships, hunger relief, blood drives, and youth eye-screening clinics.
