Shakespeare In the Park
To commemorate William Shakespeare’s death in 1616, we present Shakespeare In the Park: An Anniversary Celebration, a festival of readings and performances on the lawn at Eastmorland Community Center, 3565 Tulane Ave. in Madison on Saturday April 26 2025, beginning at 11:30 AM.
This Madison Shakespeare Company event is free and open to the public. RSVP appreciated but not required for attendance.
This anniversary celebration will include readings of Shakespeare plays:
11:30 AM – The Taming of the Shrew
2:00 PM – Richard the Third
Picnic bench and chair seating will be available, and attendees are also welcome to bring their own seating and blankets.
Those interested in performing are encouraged to sign up on the form listed on the Madison Shakespeare Company site.
