Reading Between the Wines
Join us Thursday, April 24, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Black Business Hub (2352 S. Park St in Madison) to raise funds for Literacy Network students. Each $60 ticket includes:
-Food from student restaurants
-Live mariachi
-Wine tasting
-A program with student, staff, and supporter stories
Students will reflect on this year's event theme, "Together We Grow," and share inspiring stories about their dreams and goals, including becoming U.S. citizens, earning their GEDs or HSEDs, securing improved job opportunities, and supporting their children’s health and educational needs. Event attendees will also receive a copy of 2025’s compilation of personal student stories, Together We Grow!
Registration is required for all attendees and capacity is limited. Event registration closes April 20 at 5pm.
Guests are also invited to register for the event’s online auction, live April 10 through April 24. All registration is available at https://literacynetwork.schoolauction.net/rbtw2025/.
Since 1974, Literacy Network has provided free adult literacy and English language education programs for Dane County adults. Students study English as a Second Language (ESL), prepare for the U.S. citizenship test, and earn their GED, among other programs. Each year, 1,400+ adult students from more than 85 countries work towards improved skills to achieve their dreams at Literacy Network.
