Burning Troll
Burning Troll returns to the Mount Horeb area for a one-of-a-kind celebration of music, creativity, community, and a little mischievous fun in the Troll Capital of the World! Hosted by Brix Cider, this playful, free-spirited festival blends live music, art, costumes, food, drinks, dancing, and an unforgettable troll-burning finale on a beautiful historic farm just south of town.
Inspired by Mount Horeb’s famous troll culture and the creative energy of larger arts festivals, Burning Troll puts a uniquely Wisconsin spin on the experience — welcoming guests to express themselves, dress up, explore, and enjoy a day full of quirky fun and positive community vibes.
The event takes place at the historic Donald Farm, a scenic 1850s farmstead surrounded by prairie, woods, hiking trails, and the natural beauty of nearby Donald Park. Guests can enjoy craft cider, farm-to-table food, live performances throughout the day, and the spectacular Burning Troll ceremony after dark.
