In Italy, the last two weeks of August are reserved for Ferragosto - a major national holiday marking the peak of summer. Originating as “Augustus’ rest,” it’s traditionally a city-to-coast exodus where locals flock to the seaside.
From August 15-30, bar Vetti is transforming into bar Vetti Beach Club: your neighborhood seaside oasis right here in Louisville.
We’re celebrating with a dedicated Ferragosto feature menu:
Fritto Misto:
Gulf shrimp, calamari, caper berries, peperoncini, lemon aioli
Watermelon Salad:
Ricotta salata, serrano, citrus vinaigrette, summer herbs
Sweet Corn Campanelle:
Blue crab, caramelized fennel, basil, Parmigiano-Reggiano
