Please join the artists of St. Matthews Studios and Gallery for their spring art opening!

SMSG will hold a reception celebrating their new work, Fascination, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Come help us celebrate the most wonderful time of the year in Louisville! We will have innovative new work for sale as well as some fabulous fascinators! Join us as we relish in the pre-Derby season and wear your favorite headpiece! Wine and light hors d'ouvres served. Free and open to the public.
SMSG is located at 3716 Lexington Road, on the second floor, above Colonial Designs. The artists participating are Gayle Cerlan, Teri Dryden, Lynn Dunbar, Jeanne Freibert, Julie Hohmann, Mary Dennis Kannapell, Page Penna, and Gretchen Treitz. The exhibit will continue from April 16th - June 30th with gallery hours Wednesday-Saturday 12:00-4:00pm or by appointment. (Elevator available to the second floor).
New work in the gallery by this group of creative women includes oil paintings, sculptures, textiles, watercolors, and mixed media. Subject matter ranges from landscapes, to portraits, to abstractions. Each piece of work uniquely captures the imaginative spirit of the artists. Their individual studios will be open for all to explore. They will be happy to talk about their process, discuss commissions, and share work in progress.
