SPARC is celebrating our 50th birthday by getting fit! Join us as we officially launch SPARC’S LA Marathon 5K Charity Partner program.
Whether you are a seasoned runner, a casual jogger, or a leisurely walker, this kickoff event is all about coming together, getting moving, and making a difference. We’ll be hitting the pavement for a casual 5K (3.1 miles) route starting right from SPARC headquarters. It’s the perfect opportunity to meet fellow supporters, get some fresh air, and learn how you can join Team SPARC for the official LA Marathon 5K on March 6, 2027.
When: Saturday, August 29, 2026
9:45 a.m. meet up/mingle
10:00 a.m. start 5K along a scenic neighborhood route
Where: begin and end at SPARC Headquarters, 685 Venice Blvd, Venice, CA
What: A FREE casual 5K walk/run followed by information on how to join Team SPARC.
Who: Everyone—regardless of fitness level or pace. Strollers and friendly dogs on leashes are welcome. Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual jogger, or a “winged walker,” this kickoff is about coming together, getting moving, and making a difference.
