First Stitches: Cloud Pillow (Registration Required)
A beginner-friendly sewing program for kids ages 4-9. Young participants will explore both hand sewing and introductory machine sewing!
Registration is required due to material availability.
This class will run six weeks. We will teach hand-sewing skills to children ages 4 to 9 with the end goal of making a simple Sausage Dog Pillow. The plan gradually builds motor skills, basic sewing techniques, and confidence through age-appropriate activities.
Age Range: 4–9 years
Project Goal: Complete a Sausage Dog Pillow
Duration: 6 weeks, 1 session per week (45–60 minutes each)
Skills Covered: Threading a needle, running stitch, backstitch, tying knots, fabric handling, safety
