Tinkerfest by Museum of Discovery
Tinkerfest is back at the Museum of Discovery on Saturday, September 12!
From building and experimenting to creating and problem-solving, Tinkerfest invites guests of all ages to get curious and get hands-on. This one-day festival celebrates the joy of making and the creativity that comes from asking questions, trying new things and figuring out how things work.
Throughout the event, guests can explore hands-on, open-ended experiences inspired by science, technology, engineering, art and creativity. Reclaim, reuse and reconstruct materials, experiment with new ideas, learn new skills and discover the science behind the things we make.
Whether you're an experienced maker or just love to tinker, there's something for everyone to explore. Come ready to get creative, try something new and see where your curiosity takes you!
Enjoy food and sweet treats from local vendors and browse unique creations from local artists and makers available for purchase throughout the event.
Tinkerfest activities run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Museum of Discovery will remain open until 5 p.m., giving guests plenty of time to explore the museum before or after the festival.
Admission:
Adults: $15
Children ages 1–12: $13
Infants younger than 1: Free
Seniors, teachers, Little Rock city employees, and active/retired military: $13
SNAP recipients plus up to five additional people: $2 each
