**Via Brasil Steakhouse to Support UNLV Rebels Boxing Team with Special Dinner Fundraiser**
LAS VEGAS (January 13, 2025) – Via Brasil Steakhouse is excited to announce the "Meet & Greet UNLV Rebels Boxing Team Fundraiser," a special dinner event scheduled for Saturday, February 8, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This event will take place at Via Brasil Steakhouse restaurant at 1225 S. Fort Apache Rd., Ste 100, Las Vegas, NV 89117, and aims to raise funds for the UNLV Rebels Boxing Team as they prepare for their upcoming travel and competition in Colorado Springs for the western regional tournament on March 3, 2025.
During this exciting evening, $5.00 from every dinner sold will be donated directly to support the UNLV Rebels Boxing Team. “Adam and I are truly honored to host this dinner. It's a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness for these young athletes and help cover their travel needs,” said the owner of Via Brasil Steakhouse. “We really hope the community will come out and join us on February 8th to celebrate the talent and dedication of our young boxers.”
The UNLV Rebels Boxing Team, consisting of talented fighters such as team club president Terrell, vice president Wyatt, captain Kevin, and standout female boxer Jada, is determined to bring back the championship caliber that defined the team in the early 2000s. The team’s participation in competitions is largely self-funded, with limited support from the university. The costs for these trips can range from $1,600 to $4,500, covering essentials like flights, accommodation, and fight necessities.
Coach Jason Crocco, a former national champion and now the head coach, has taken special efforts to rebuild the team and enhance the community's support. “Every punch we throw is for them, and we’re committed to building strong teams year after year. Together, we’re not just fighting in the ring; we’re building a legacy,” said Coach Crocco.
This special dinner is not only about enjoying delicious Brazilian cuisine; it’s an opportunity for the Las Vegas community to rally behind our local athletes.
