Pianos on Parade! March 21 at 7pm, doors open at 6pm, cash bar The Lee’s Summit Symphony, under the direction of Maestro Kirt Mosier, is thrilled to announce its upcoming concert, Pianos On Parade!, on March 21, 2026, at 7:00 PM. This spectacular evening will showcase three of the Midwest’s most talented pianists, delivering a program filled with virtuosity and beloved masterpieces. The first half of the concert will feature Andreas Han Landstedt, the University of Missouri-Kansas City Concerto Winner, performing Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4. Known for its lyrical beauty and technical brilliance, this concerto will highlight Landstedt’s exceptional artistry and command of the keyboard. The second half will spotlight the dynamic husband-and-wife duo, Li-Hsin Chen and Kai-Han. Kai-Han will captivate the audience with a movement from Shostakovich’s Piano Concerto No. 2, a work brimming with energy and wit. Li-Hsin Chen, the esteemed staff accompanist at Lee’s Summit West High School, will close the evening with a vibrant performance of Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue, a jazz-infused masterpiece that promises to leave audiences in awe. Join us for an unforgettable night of music celebrating the piano’s versatility and the extraordinary talents of these remarkable artists. We’ll also be celebrating Music in Our Schools Month® by recognizing the many music educators who regularly perform in the Lee’s Summit Symphony.
