Wonders of Discovery

Pollinator Prairie, a 1.5-acre conservation site open daily with an accessible path that winds past seven distinct garden spaces where people and wildlife share a living snapshot of the tallgrass prairie. Nestled within a suburban neighborhood, the site features native plants characteristic of this once vast ecosystem. Throughout June, blooms of purple coneflower, foxglove beardtongue, and coreopsis create a vibrant display of color and habitat, attracting pollinators and offering an ever-changing landscape for visitors to enjoy. Each year, Wonders of Discovery draws hundreds of visitors to celebrate pollinators with exhibits and activities for all ages.
