Summit Art presents Lee Copen Painting Workshop "Going the Distance"

This two day workshop will concentrate on the principles of atmospheric perspective. Students may paint with oils or acrylics. Bring your own supplies. Bring your own lunch. Atmospheric perspective is a technique that artists use to create the illusion of depth and space in their work. It’s based on how the atmosphere scatters light and affects how distant objects appear. Lee Copen is a knowledgeable and patient teacher, teaching workshops in oil, acrylics, watercolors, and colored pencil. Her instructions are clear as she instills confidence in her students. Fees are $225 for members of Summit Art, $250 for nonmembers of Summit Art.
