Jammin' on the Green: Vine Street Rumble Jazz Orchestra
Held monthly at the bandstand of historic Shawnee Town 1929 Museum, guests are encouraged to bring a chair and enjoy our featured musicians.
Under the direction of Kent Rausch, this 14-piece band will perform the same outrageously exciting music that made Kansas City THE place to be in the 20’s through 40’s. You won’t be able to help but get up and dance!
Admission is FREE, and bottled water and snacks are provided. Leashed and well-behaved dogs are allowed. Picnic tables and bench seating also available. Leashed and well-behaved dogs are allowed. Entrance at 11501 W 57th Street, Shawnee, KS 66203. In the event of bad weather, performances move indoors to Town Hall.
