Better Together Community Job Fair
Better Together is partnering with Gardenview Baptist Church to host a community job fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3 in Jacksonville.
The community job fair is part of Better Together’s “Better Jobs” program, which has helped nearly 40,000 applicants connect with employment opportunities across 24 states. At job fairs hosted by Better Together, two-thirds of attendees get a job interview, and 1 in 4 receive a job offer on the spot. Some 70% find work within six weeks.
The Oct. 3 job fair will take place at Gardenview Baptist Church, located at 3139 Armsdale Road in Jacksonville.
