Tobacco is the leading cause of preventable death in the United States. 95% of cigarette smokers start by age 21. 1 in 5 Florida youth use tobacco and electronic vaping devices. 55% of youth in Duval County are exposed to secondhand smoke from cigarettes or electronic devices.
Join us for the Tobacco-Free Jacksonville General Partnership meeting on Friday, February 7th, from 9:00am-10:00am. This is a great opportunity to collaborate with other community members and organizations, and to learn more about the local tobacco prevention efforts taking place in Duval County.
