Ronen Chamber Ensemble: November 10th, 4pm, Our Lady of Lourdes Church
The program includes:
Australian composer Ben Hoadley‘s Porch Music, written for Ronen and featuring the ensemble’s four music directors; Beethoven’s first string quartet, a seminal work in the same key as his Pastoral Symphony, and after intermission; Felix Mendelssohn’s masterful first piano trio in the rarely heard version for flute, cello, and piano, an arrangement sanctioned by the composer for his adoring British public.
