Gluhwein Gallop 5k
Get ready for some wintertime fun on Saturday, December 20, for the Carmel Christkindlmarkt's 5th annual Glühwein Gallop 5k Run/Walk! This festive 5k race will start and finish at the Carmel Christkindlmarkt, traveling on the Monon Trail and past the shops along Main Street and Rangeline Road. Complete with a costume contest, this event is sure to be a highlight of the season.
The Glühwein Gallop draws its name from the German word Glühwein (pronounced 'glue vine'), which translates to "glowing wine" in English. Glühwein is a delicious mulled wine that is served warm in different flavors. The Market’s Glühwein and its special mugs are one of the biggest attractions each year.
