Irvington Garden Tour
Descriptions of the eight diverse gardens -- large and small -- are included in the event program, and homeowners are usually available for questions. There will be live music at the Benton House at the beginning of the tour, where you might get a peek at artists painting in the gardens. Don't miss the iris collection at the Benton House, one of few such plantings in the United States, which has been designated a “display garden” by the Historic Iris Preservation Society.
