Conceptualized by Robert Lopez, Trey Parker, and Matt Stone, The Book of Mormon highlights the strictness of religion and the way that religious teachings and stories are preached, presenting the musical and its takeaways through satire and comedy. The show tells the journey of two Latter-Day Saints (LDS) missionaries, Kevin Price and Arnold Cunningham, spreading their religion to the local population of a village in Uganda and their hilarious attempts to find the right manner to teach their religious teachings.
