Bubby’s Kitchen is a moving exploration of family, identity and self-discovery, set against the backdrop of the Holocaust and contemporary American life. Throughout the one-woman musical, Shira Ginsburg transforms into seven different family members—each of whom helped shape her personal journey. At its heart, Bubby’s Kitchen is the story of one young woman’s struggle to honor the remarkable legacy of her grandparents while forging a path of her own. Bubby’s Kitchen is presented by Music at Emanu El and the Evelyn Rubenstein JCC in partnership with Holocaust Museum Houston.
