The MLK Parade Houston, dubbed MLK Unity Parade, is the largest celebration in the US in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The parade's theme is " Embracing the Oneness of Humanity " and will feature more than 300 culturally diverse performance groups from across the nation including 36 award winning military, college, and high school marching bands. The parade will originate on San Jacinto Street & Pease Street beginning @ 10A (CST) and has a 3.1 hour duration along a 2.1 mi parade route.
