Hawai'i Thespians Festival
The annual Hawai‘i Thespians Festival is a day full of energy, creativity, and opportunity! It is THE ultimate gathering for performing arts students and educators to connect, grow, and shine. It is a place for networking opportunities, auditioning for scholarships, and taking workshops led by industry professionals. Workshops this year include Circus Skills, Gory Makeup, Musical Theatre Auditions, Stage Combat, Projection Design and Props Making.
This year, students can audition for a spot in the Hawai'i Conservatory of Performing Arts, admission into the BFA of Musical Theatre program at the University of Northern Colorado, or for Hawai'i Thespians scholarship to be used at any university the students chooses. (Must be an inducted thespian for the Hawai'i Thespians Scholarship.)
The day ends with a spectacular finale as schools take the stage to showcase their remarkable talent in a showcase, and the announcement of the scholarship recipients.
