Kaulele at Royal Hawaiian Center

The Institute for Native Pacific Education and Culture (INPEACE) recently partnered with the Royal Hawaiian Center (RHC) to host Kaulele – a series of interactive exhibits to showcase how STEM has been a vital part of Native Hawaiian traditions for generations. From November 1, 2024 through March 29, 2024, guests can enjoy three hands-on exhibits to learn about Loko Iʻa (fishponds), Kapa (Hawaiian barkcloth), and Kaulana Mahina (Hawaiian Lunar Calendar). Come discover the science behind the culture! From now until the end of March, bring the entire ‘ohana to Royal Hawaiian Center to kilo (observe), ‘imi loa (explore), and noi‘i (investigate). We’re open Tuesday through Friday from 11 AM – 6 PM and Saturdays from 11 AM – 7 PM. Tickets can be purchased in advance online or at the entrance. Kama‘āina rates will be offered and all keiki under three years old are free.
