La Pietra Presents - Hadestown: Teen Edition
This groundbreaking production features an all-student cast and crew and marks one of the first schools in the nation to be granted rights to perform the show. With a runtime of 2 hours and 10 minutes, including one intermission, Hadestown: Teen Edition invites audiences on a hell-raising journey into the underworld and back.
Written by Anaïs Mitchell, Hadestown is a sung-through folk opera that intertwines the love stories of Orpheus and Eurydice and Hades and Persephone. Featuring the traditions of classic American folk and vintage New Orleans jazz, the musical pits industry against nature, doubt against faith, and fear against love.
