You will work hands-on with Chef Yuji to make several variants of sushi with the highest quality raw fish. Students will learn not only the art and vast history of sushi, but also advice for buying and preparing raw fish safely at home.
Chef Yuji Haraguchi is the founder and owner of OKONOMI / YUJI Ramen, as well as Osakana Brooklyn and Osakana East Village in NYC. Hailing from Japan, Yuji created the Japanese-style fish market and education center Osakana to educate people about Japanese food and culture.
