You’ll start at Kaiaka Bay Beach Park, riding across the start line at 7:30am. You’ll first bike towards Ka‘ena Point with the ocean on your right and Dillingham Airfield on your left. Take a little break at Camp Erdman where you turn around and bike back towards Hale‘iwa. Then, pedal past famed ocean beaches and surf spots like Sharks Cove, Waimea Bay, Pipeline, and Sunset. When you reach Hau‘ula Beach State Park, it will be time for you to return along the beautiful coastline, over Hale‘iwa’s iconic Rainbow Bridge, and finish up back where you started! You’ll find plenty of Aid Stations along your ride to keep you energized and hydrated. Plus, a marked course, roving mechanics, and course marshals. You’ll finish proud and exhilarated when you arrive at Kaiaka Bay Beach Park to celebrate your achievement and enjoy camaraderie with your fellow bicyclists.
Most folks don’t bike the North Shore very often, but thousands have joined HBL for this ride over the past 30 years. Bike the entire 100K route (a Metric Century is 62 miles), or turn around at any of 5 Aid Stations. Ride your ride with HBL and take pride in knowing you’re supporting the Hawaii Bicycling League when you do!
