67th Pops 'n Jazz 67th Extravaganza
This year’s show "In a Sentimental Mood" offers treasured melodies, shimmering brass, and sparkling polished jazz standards. Paying tribute to the golden age of jazz, the show celebrates its timeless charm through an unforgettable evening of music and highly choreographed numbers. Special guest artists perform nightly:
March 21 Sara Jacovino on Trombone
March 22 Three-time jazz arrangement GRAMMY Award nominee Pete McGuinness on Vocals (Hall High “Pops ‘n’ Jazz” alum: ’79 – ’81),
March 27 Three-time Music Educator GRAMMY Award nominee and two-time Golden Globe Music Award Winner John Mastroianni on Alto Sax
March 28 Tony Kadleck on Trumpet and Thomas Doelger on Vocals (Hall High grad ‘14 and Pops ‘n Jazz alum)
March 29 Erica von Kleist on Flute and Alto Sax (Hall High grad '00 and Pops ‘n Jazz alum)
Ticket sales now available at https://hallhighbands.com/tickets or https://pnj.ludus.com. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students; tickets to the Sunday matinee are $10. Beginning in March, tickets can also be purchased in person at the Hall High School box office. Please call (860) 929-5151 for box office. Hours are March 12-14, 19-20, 26-28 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Box office opens at 6 p.m. on show nights.
