IllimunateU: Empowering Youth to Shine From Within
Every IlluminateU program has the LSC’s unique, guided visualization meditations woven into other engaging activities that youth are excited to participate in, such as art, movement, athletics and more.
During programs youth are given techniques to understand what is triggering their stresses, anxieties, anger, depression and more. The programs are suited for children who typically struggle with concentration and focus. The goal of IlluminateU is to provide support, foster resilience, and empower youth.
IlluminateU programs are offered both at the LSC and can be brought out to the community. We welcome partnerships with other youth focused organizations.
Currently scheduled at the LSC:
We are offering 10 weeks of once a week IlluminateU for ages 6-8 and 8-10 after school this fall.
Each session will incorporate movement, creativity and fun activities, with simple meditation tools. Each IlluminateU program has two teachers and the groups are designed to be small so the kids can get to know each other, become friends and have fun. To learn more, call us at 860-287-3119.

10 Wednesdays from Sept. 10 to Nov. 12 from 3:15-4:45 pm
Suggested for 8-10 years old:
10 Fridays from Sept. 12 to Nov. 14 from 3:15-4:45 pm
