Parkville Art Gallery is thrilled to announce the latest rotation of featured artists, showcasing a dynamic new collection of work from local talent. The gallery’s quarterly exhibition continues its mission to support and elevate emerging and established artists from the community, offering fresh perspectives across a variety of mediums. The new gallery exhibit includes artists Mia Erickson, Jonathan Frechette, Christine Chaise Greenwood, Peter Greenwood, Edith Skiba Lamonika, Andre Rochester, Mark Schebell and Robert Zott. Alongside the quarterly rotation of featured artists, Parkville Art Gallery is proud to permanently showcase the work of its two artists-in-residence: Miguel Jose Matos, Gallery Director, and Antony Zito, Associate Director.
The May 8 celebration is free and open to the public and will include a grazing table from local caterer Distinctive Ideas, and music from DJ Gabrielle Lakshmi. As always, Gallery neighbors Dead Language Beer Project will be open for the duration of the opening.
Parkville Art Gallery is Connecticut's largest private art gallery and premiere event space. It is dedicated to the exhibition and support of local and regional artists. Invited artists are charged zero commission on the sale of their work.
