Mental Health Awareness Event for Seniors


Your mental health is just as important as your physical health, and we're taking the day this Thursday, May 8th to focus on just that. Call us now (860-429-0262) to save your spot for a FREE chair massage, the 10:30 a.m. FREE yoga class with Linda, and the 12:30 p.m. FREE Sound Healing meditation class. Spaces are limited for those activities. Activities are open to individuals age 55+ from all towns. Stop by anytime during the 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. window to visit the tables representing UConn CLIR, Mansfield Public Library (check out their virtual meditation series by clicking here), Mansfield Parks and Recreation/Community Center, and Bereavement and Caregiver Support with Mansfield Human Services. Don't miss massage therapist Pam Brundage's table! We'll also unveil the new puzzle wall and you'll have a chance to explore the "Path of Positivity". All of these groups offer services that can improve your mental health, whether it be through continued learning, exercise, time outside, hobbies, or social endeavors.
